Assessment System  

Each subject is completed by a differentiated course credit test or an examination. Assessment for a differentiated course credit is made by assessing interim tests/ performance during the term and active in-class participation in lectures and workshops as well as completing the final task designed by the lecturer.

An examination is assessed by the accumulative (interim) evaluation of the performance. The final mark for an examination in the 10-grade system is formed by: 

▪ Exam assessment - up to 50 percent.

▪ Evaluating independent work and tests, colloquiums - up to 40 percent Evaluating attendance, active participation in lectures and workshops - up to 10 percent.

▪ The exam is considered to be passed if the aims of the subject achieved are not lower than "essential minimal" level. The exam and credit can be in oral or written form. The schedules of exams are developed and announced in the end of term. 

Requirements for the final thesis 

General requirements for the final thesis

The topic of the final thesis should have the applied topic related to the practical aspects of computer network administration, databases and electronic publishing. The topic should be relevant and applied within the area of information technologies. 

The structure of the thesis: 

▪ The programme part (the programme)

▪ Explanatory note including annexes

▪ Electronic presentation
