Northern Lithuania College is non-governmental High School of Lithuania. It was founded in 2002 and approved by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania. The College has basic non-university studies and provides high education and professional qualification relevant to the labour market needs, science and new technologies level. The graduates receive vocational Bachelor degree. Our College realises the rules of high quality education, professionalism and partnership that are dictated by the challenges of a contemporary Europe. It also prepares well-qualified specialists, who are able to fulfill the requirements of modern economy in the following branches: business and event management, administration of computer network, law and economics of financial institutions. Our focus is on student development of disciplinary competence, effective communication skills, collaborative problem solving skills, competence in the use of technology and an understanding of the importance of ethical behavior. International relations are among the most dynamic activities of the College which is an active member of the international network of cooperating educational institutions in EU and other countries. This cooperation covers intense academic research, conferences and seminars, teacher and student exchange within international agreements, most of which are implemented with the EU support. Students are also engaged in student exchange in the range of European programmes such as Long Life Learning Programme.
