Sources of College origin: 1993-2001 - Siauliai Business Consultation Center; 2001-2002 m - Northern Lithuania Business School established; From 2002 m. - Northern Lithuania College. Main strives of successful activity of College is the experience in practical business consultation and training and cooperation with Siauliai University, Siauliai Manufacturers Association, Siauliai Trade, Chamber of Industry and Handicraft, Business Incubator, Labour Exchange and other organizations of Siauliai city and district.
Knowledge of real market needs and changes allows ensuring qualitative services for students. We prepare undergraduate students to meet or exceed performance expectations in initial professional positions and to build upon experiences to achieve career advancement. Our focus is on student development of disciplinary competence, effective communication skills, collaborative problem solving skills, competence in the use of technology and an understanding of the importance of ethical behavior.
Northern Lithuania College has taken a firm place in the international community and its international policy aims to develop international cooperation and integration into the European and global academic community, to support and facilitate student and teacher exchange. It have created an atmosphere, where in a group both Lithuanians and other nationalities feel comfortable. The cooperation is based on short-term educational activities (such as workshops, seminars by guest professors), academic staff and student exchanges (such as the Erasmus programme), internships (such as the Leonardo Da Vinci programme); likewise it happens everywhere in the democratic world, the College applies for grants and win at international project competitions.
